Estamp’s actions related to SDG 4, 5 and 8
In this article, we will focus on the actions and measures that Estamp is implementing in line with Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5 and 8. These goals, part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, address Quality Education, Gender Equality and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
SDG 4: Quality Education
Sustainable Development Goal 4 seeks to ensure an inclusive and Quality Education for all.
In this context, Estamp is committed to promoting education in its community and beyond to inspire and support future generations.
For this purpose, it has held talks in high schools to share knowledge and experiences with young students. For example, participating in relevant educational fairs, such as the XVII edition of the «Fòrum d’Empreses» of ESEIAAT-UPC or «Terrassa Tria Futur«, the training and career guidance fair. Both held in Terrassa (Spain).
SDG 5: Gender Equality
Sustainable Development Goal 5 focuses on achieving Gender Equality and Empowering women and girls.
Estamp strives to promote diversity and equal opportunities in its industry. That is why it organizes talks at institutes to highlight the presence of successful women in the automotive and industrial industry (STEAM careers). Inspiring young women to pursue their professional dreams without restrictions.
In addition, Estamp promotes gender equality in its work environment, fostering an inclusive environment and providing equal opportunities for the professional growth of all its employees.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
Sustainable Development Goal 8 seeks to promote Decent Work and Sustainable Economic Growth.
In line with this goal, Estamp has implemented measures that favor the well-being and balance of its workers. The company recognizes the importance of work-life balance and offers flexible working hours and homework opportunities.
In addition, Estamp has established a Benefits Kit that adapts to the needs of each plant, such as flexible compensation at Terrassa plant. With these measures, Estamp not only seeks economic growth, but also the integral wellbeing of its team.
