NEKLAR AND EURECAT INNOVATE IN FUEL CELL OPTIMIZATION
Neklar has been awarded the project “Study on the Application of Virtual Simulation Techniques as a Tool for the Design of Metallic Bipolar Plates for PEM Fuel Cells” (Reference: 2023/DIH/01/000005) within the PADIH Program, an initiative supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through the Support for Digital Innovation Hubs program. This initiative is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (DIH_001), established under Order ICT/1296/2022 of December 22.
Through this project, Neklar will enhance its expertise in designing and developing Bipolar Plates for Fuel Cells, focusing on how the geometry of the active area channels affects cell performance. By utilizing virtual simulation techniques and the Taguchi methodology, the company aims to optimize efficiency and innovation in fuel cell technology.
This campaign is financed by the European Union Next Generation EU – Recovery Plan, in collaboration with the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI), the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and the Government of Spain.
