Procurement Engineer

Location: Terrassa, Barcelona (Spain)

MISSION

To oversee the procurement of technical goods and services for industrial operations and to assure supplier quality requirements are matched to customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Procurement Engineer Tasks: Request for quotation and costs analysis.
  2. Supplier Quality Development Tasks:
  • Development phase
    • Managing APQP for new products or modifications and re-approval (PPAP).
    • Carry out Supplier Process Audits
  • Serial phase
    • Supplier Performance
    • Managing supplier non-conformities, analyzing 8 D reports

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Experience in SQA and/or Purchase Engineering (minimum 3 years).
  2. Advanced Level of English
  3. Core Tools: knowledge APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA.
