Operations Manager

Location: Zlaté Moravce (Slovakia)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish communication and open and effective interaction with all areas and departments with involvement
    in the production environment.
  • Detect the production department needs on human resources and materials necessary to meet manufacturing
    requirements.
  • Determination and adjustment of production schedules.
  • Propose innovative measures required to maintain and / or improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the
    machines and production processes.
  • Prepare the manufacturing planning and monitoring production processes trying to ensure their profitability.
  • Participate in the design and development of production processes and tooling manufacturing.
  • Direct and coordinate production operations following the policy and procedures, to achieve maximum
    standardization for all production operations.
  • Participate in defining and encouraging their team in achieving business goals set by the management.
  • Successfully achieve quality and service requirements established by Neklar’s customers.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement activities in the field of manufacturing.
  • Establish clear and effective communication channels.
  • Ensuring the productive capacity of the plant meets the demands of Neklar’s customers.

Candidates with education suit the position:

University education (Bachelor’s degree)
University education (Master’s degree)

Language skills:

English – Advanced (C1) and Slovak – Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge:

Microsoft Word – Advanced
Microsoft Excel – Advanced
Micrsoft Outlook – Advanced

REQUIREMENTS

  • Mechanical engineering, technical advanced vocational training cycle or equivalent
  • Solid experience in similar position within the automotive industry 
  • Experience in some applications of process improvement techniques/continuous improvement (Lean Management, 5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Pull-Flow, Kanban, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • SAP: user level
