Operations Manager

Location: Zlaté Moravce (Slovakia)

MISSION

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the entire Operations of Manufacturing Plant, managing and coordinating daily activities to ensure that the plant is running under Lean Best Practices, developing processes that maximize safety, quality, productivity and profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the plant to increase productivity (DLP and OEE), collaborate with quality to improve (NQC) and on time delivery (OTD) and build a quality mind-set for the whole plant (TQM)
2. Follow-up the Parts P&L
3. Inventory and stock control management
4. Report the status of the plant accompanied by strategic and operational indicators
5. Implement & standardize the eight pillars of the TPM
6. Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance of machines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
2. 5 years relevant experience in Engineering, Production or Supply Chain in Automotive Industry
3. Knowledge of international trade, logistics and shipping best practices
4. Experience with IATF and ISO standards and audit processes
5. English / Slovak
